ÖVERLAPPA
Based on the principles of collage and montage, I use the printing techniques to prove the connections between separate parts, which are then combined into new “systems” regardless of their original context. In my works, I utilize the individual printing form not only in its function as a matrix for pictorial codes, but also as a flexible composition component.
Here in the Örnsköldsvik workshop I work with the possibilities of letterpress and use the letters as modules for my image search. Frequent overprinting creates overlaps and layers that transform the individual letters into graphic structures of imaginary landscapes.
